Distinguished Young Women of Hawaii is part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholarship, leadership and talent in young women.

College scholarships are awarded at the state level ($20,000 last year) and millions in college-granted scholarships are available ($1 billion nationally). And one representative will advance to the national program in Mobile, Alabama where they give away over $130,000 in cash tuition scholarships.

Our State Finals for the Class of 2020 was held on November 10, 2019 at Sacred Hearts Academy in Honolulu, Hawai'i. Josette Huang, the Distinguished Young Woman of Hawai'i for 2020, was awarded $5,500 in cash scholarships, including $1,000 as the Top Scholar recipient.

If you are a 2021 high school graduate or younger, please complete the registration (click on the "Apply Now" button) and we will contact you on how to apply for your year's program as it nears.

If you are a high school junior (Class of 2021), the deadline to apply will be determined next year. Please register here to receive the link to our google doc application form.
